Aftercare

1. You have been bandaged with a second skin bandage ( i.e. hypafix or saniderm) Please keep this initial bandage on for 24 -48 hrs. If the bandage starts to peel and the tattoo is revealed take the bandage off IMEDIATLY and proceed to step 2

2. Take the first bandage off in a warm shower. Allow some water to help you peel away the bandage. ( indirect water) Gently wash away any blood or plasma that sticking to the area. Do NOT scrub. After pat dry with a clean towel.

3. Apply the second bandage you were provided. Apply as you were shown during your appointment. Leave on for min 5-7 days. After those days take off in the shower as in step 2.

4. For the next 2 weeks or so your tattoo will be very dry and/or itchy. Do NOT itch. Use a pea size amount of unscented moisturizer to thinly cover the tattoo. Aquaphor ointment is recommended but any unscented lotion will do.

   Key Things to note~

   NO submerging in water ( baths, swimming pools, and bodies of water)

   NO direct sunlight

   Please dont pick scabs ;___;
