Julia Saint Amour is a tattooist and freelance artist based out of Toronto.

Julia was born in Scarborough at the tender age of zero with a paint brush in her hand and a fire in her heart. Self taught through her youth Julia eventually attended Oasis skateboard factory, an Alternative secondary school in Toronto’s downtown core.

Julias work is an escapist fantasy painted in neon and plastered with deep tones. Her usage of bright fluorescent colour schemes juxtaposed with gritty, provocative subject matter creates a strong dichotomy present throughout all her work. She touches upon themes of mental illness, sexual expression and the influence of pop culture.

Primarily Julia works with digital media whilst also utilizing markers, acrylics, and oil paints for her traditional work. Her inspirations include fantasy, mythology, nature, and alternative subcultures.
